This is the story of Ashleys puppies. These puppies are border collie-sheltie hybrids, bred initially to be service dogs for the disabled. A snafu caused them, all 9 of them, to be pets instead. As time goes on, we will see pictures and hear stories of them as they grow.
Trixie was 34lbs last time I checked. She has a lot of hair,like poofy, so she looks bigger than she is. Right now she is shedding puppy fur so a lot of snags. So hard to stay on top of them without hurting her. Hear of a good brush for snagged and knotted fur let me know. Right now it takes two to brush her, so we try to make it in stages so as to not traumatize her too much because she needs brushing.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes she is quite the looker, and is the gentelest dog I have had to date.
