Number 9 is "Trixie" and she is going to the Chicago area with Brady and family.

Trixie was nicknamed "Spitfire" for her interesting way of nursing. (See the video "ripping at the nipple" on you tube.

Number 8 is "Queenie" and she still lives with us.

Queenie is the perfect dog. It is hard to say she is hyper, mellow, loud, quiet...or any one way. She is like the perfect blend of everything that makes a dog...a dog!

Number 7 is "Bandit" who is going to Tampa Florida, to be a nearby friend to Kobi.



Bandit is a mellow guy. He and Kobi are spending the next few weeks with Leo and Marie here in Goode...

Number 6 is "Dozer" who will remain with us...forever.

Dozer is about double the size of the rest of the puppies and is quite the hippie-type personality.

Numbr 5 is "Ivy" who lives with us currently.

Ivy has a slate-blue eye on the left side and a brown one on the right side. She is VERY pretty!

Number 4 is "Biscuit" who already has moved to Stowe, VT.

You will hear all about Biscuit later on in the blog.

Number three is "Blaze" wo still lives with us, here in VA.

(Blaze is the CUDDLIEST little girl you ever met!

The second one born, was Lickity-Split (We call her "Split" for short)

This little girl may be going to Forest, VA very soon...till then, she is with us.

For those of you who might be reading this and do not have one of the puppies...this is the story of 9 little pups.

Long ago, Michelle and I wanted to forward the hybrid Border Collie/Sheltie genes into a service dog for the disabled. Through a snafu which we will leave out of this blog, the puppies born to serve as errand runners for the disabled, were destined to be pets instead.

This blog will keep those of us in touch with each other and allow us to watch the pups as they grow. :)
